Transport, Warehouse & Compliance Coordinator
La Chasse is a specialty food distribution business, based on the Wiltshire / Dorset / Somerset border. We have years of experience in this industry supplying Chefs with fantastic locally produced food ingredients as well as the imported must haves.
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and are looking for an experienced person to take on the task of Transport, Warehouse \& Compliance Coordinator and join our small friendly team. You must be confident, self motivated, and happy to work in a fast \- paced environment where no two days will be the same.
Tuesday \-Saturday 7\.00\-3\.30 pm with flexibility to work odd Mondays to cover when needed \- paid pro rata or a day in lieu
Duties include but not limited to:
Transport/logistics
- Managing a fleet of 13 refrigerated sprinter vans \& drivers
- Ensuring drivers are complying with their daily tasks
- Meeting \& greeting the drivers on return from their day – first point of contact for vehicle issues
- Manage drivers rota, ensuring we are never without a driver
- Able to step in to drive to cover short notice absence (earlier start)
- Reporting faults/booking repairs \& service/logging mileage
- Utilising tracker software to create reports for mileage logs etc
- Comparing Fuel prices
- Ordering supplies e.g screenwash/oil/adblue fuel cards
- Reviewing transport routes/mileage
- Goods receiving
- Stock taking/rotation
- Replenishment
- Risk assessments
- Create \& maintain proceedures
- Ensure training is completed
- Assist with Food Safety admin
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel in particular
- Excellent written \& verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi\-task, have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work
- Fork lift licence
- Excellent attention to detail \& problem solving skills
- Food Knowledge \& experience in the hospitality sector
- Experience of an ERP system
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
