Permanent, full-time position based in Totton, Southampton.

Salary

Negotiable depending on experience + additional benefits & progression

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Transport Manager with the day-to-day running of transport operations


• Assist with route planning and daily delivery schedules


• Support driver management, training and development


• Monitor drivers' hours, working time and transport compliance


• Help forecast transport requirements and vehicle availability


• Support fleet maintenance and ensure vehicles remain operational


• Resolve day-to-day transport issues and delivery challenges


• Maintain accurate transport records and documentation


• Help ensure a safe, efficient and compliant transport operation


• Work closely with warehouse and operational teams

• Previous experience within transport supervision, transport operations or a similar role


• Experience working with tachographs required


• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and transport legislation


• Valid CPC required


• Strong people-management and communication skills


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment


• Good organisation and problem-solving ability


• Flexible approach to working hours and early starts


• Full UK driving licence, minimum Category C1, required
