Transport & Routing Administrator

Location: Burton upon Trent
Full Time \| Monday – Friday \| 10am – 6pm

We're looking for an organised, proactive and detail\-focused individual to join our busy team as a Routing \& Web Order Administrator.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining transport administration, delivery planning and routing with supporting our busy web order team.

You'll play an important role in making sure customer orders are processed and delivered efficiently, working closely with our transport team, depots, and internal departments. You'll also provide administrative support to the web team when required, helping to keep customer orders moving through the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and routing daily customer deliveries


• Allocating customer orders to the most appropriate delivery routes and vehicles


• Coordinating delivery schedules and making sure routes are planned efficiently


• Monitoring deliveries and dealing with any issues or delays


• Updating transport and order management systems accurately


• Making amendments to routes and delivery schedules when required


• Responding to delivery queries from internal teams and customers


• Helping resolve delivery issues quickly and effectively


• Supporting the web team with general order administration


• Processing and checking web orders


• Assisting with web order queries and delivery\-related enquiries


• Helping keep web orders up to date and progressing through the system


• Supporting the wider ecommerce and customer service team when required


• Providing general administrative support across the business
