Join an established manufacturing and distribution business as a Transport Administrator, where you'll play a key role in supporting their dynamic transport operations.
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established manufacturing and distribution business with the recruitment of a Transport Administrator.
This is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term position based in Ely, with an immediate start available. The role is Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.
Salary:
£26,500 – £30,000, depending on experience (High likelihood for being made permanent, dependent on performance)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day planning and administration of transport operations
- Assist with planning and adjusting daily delivery routes
- Liaise with drivers regarding schedules, availability and route changes
- Prepare load plans, manifests and transport documentation
- Monitor deliveries and respond quickly to delays or operational issues
- Ensure transport records and systems are kept accurate and up to date
- Work closely with warehouse, transport and customer service teams
- Help ensure routes comply with vehicle capacity and Drivers' Hours requirements
- Provide general administrative support to the wider transport team
- Previous transport, logistics or traffic office experience would be advantageous
- Strong organisation and administrative skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and confidence learning transport systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage changing priorities and work to deadlines
- Calm, proactive and reliable approach
- £26,500 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
- Immediate start available
