What you’ll be doing

As a Transport Planner, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our transport operation runs safely, efficiently, and on time.

You’ll be:

Planning vehicle movements and managing daily transport operations
Supporting drivers and operational teams throughout the shift
Managing rotas and transport resources effectively
Responding quickly to operational challenges and customer requirements
Ensuring compliance with driver regulations and WTD
Working closely with colleagues across shifts to maintain service levels
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

Shift Pattern

We’re recruiting for:

Any 5 from 7 days
Likely Sunday to Thursday (with a 7\.00am start on Sunday \& Monday. And a 9\.00am start on Tuesday to Thursday). Some flexibility is required.
8\-hour shifts
An opportunity for over time.

What we’re looking for

Ideally, you’ll have:

Experience working within transport planning or logistics operations
Knowledge of drivers’ hours, WTD, and transport compliance
Experience working in a fast\-paced operational environment
Strong communication and problem\-solving skills
National or International CPC (preferred but not essential)

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys teamwork, and takes pride in delivering a great operation.
