As a Transport Planner, you ensure that transports are executed efficiently and according to plan. No two assignments are the same. You are constantly looking for ways to make transport operations smarter, faster and more efficient: you’re on it.

How you do this? You organize transports from A to Z, maintain contact with carriers and customers, and ensure that every shipment receives the right solution. You achieve this by:

• planning and organizing national and international transport movements;


• purchasing transport capacity from carriers;


• preparing and following up on quotations and transport requests;


• monitoring transports and resolving operational challenges;


• maintaining contact with customers, carriers and internal departments.

Your team stands out within DSV by an entrepreneurial team where collaboration and creativity are key. Together, you search for the best solutions for customers every day and are given plenty of freedom to take initiative.

You bring

• an affinity with transport, logistics or supply chain;


• a commercial and customer\-oriented mindset;


• strong organizational skills and attention to detail;


• good communication skills;


• a good command of the English language.
