As a Transport Operations Clerk, you will play a key roleinsupportingtheday-to-dayadministrationoftheTransportDepartment,whilealsoassistingwithwarehouseadministrationactivitieswhenrequired.Thisisavariedandfast-pacedrole,wherenotwodaysarethesame.
You'llberesponsibleforensuringtransportdocumentationisprocessedaccurately,supportingoperationalactivities,maintainingrecords,andliaisingwithdrivers,colleagues,andmanagementteamstohelpkeeptheoperationrunningsmoothly.
Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesofthisrolecanchangedailydependingonoperationalrequirements,soflexibility,adaptability,andawillingnesstosupportdifferentareasofthebusinessareessential.
You will be responsible for
Whether it's issuing drivers with their paperwork, supporting route departures, producing Tachograph reports, conducting driver debriefs, or assisting with operational challenges as they arise, you'll play a vital role in thesuccessoftheTransportfunction.
AsanessentialmemberoftheTransportOperationsTeam,you'llprovideadministrativeandoperationalsupporttohelpensuredeliveriesrunefficiently,compliancestandardsaremaintained,anddrivershavetheinformationandresourcestheyneedtoperformtheirroleseffectively.
No two shifts are the same, so you'll need to be adaptable, organised, andreadytosupporttheteamwhereverrequired.
You will need
ExperienceworkingwithHGVdriversorwithinatransport,logistics,orfleetoperationsenvironmentwouldbeadvantageous.However,weareequallyinterestedincandidateswhocandemonstratetransferableskillsgainedinotherfast-pacedadministrativeoroperationalroles.
If you have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you. Full training willbeprovidedtohelpyousucceedintherole.
