About the Role

As Transport Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our daily operation — keeping things running smoothly, safely, and to the high standards our customers rely on. Day to day, you’ll:

· Lead the daily transport operation, ensuring deliveries and collections run safely and efficiently.

· Oversee fleet maintenance, inspections, and compliance with Operator Licence and DVSA requirements

· Manage and support our drivers, building a culture of performance and pride

· Monitor driver hours and tachograph compliance

· Spot opportunities to improve the operation and consistently deliver excellent customer service

Requirements

We care more about the person than the CV. Ideally, you’ll have a background in transport or haulage and a solid understanding of UK compliance — but above all, we want someone with great judgement, genuine leadership ability, and the drive to take real ownership of the role.

· Practical experience in a transport or logistics environment

· A working understanding of UK transport legislation and driver hours regulations

· Transport Manager CPC qualification (or working towards it).

· Strong communication and organisation skills – and a natural ability to lead a team.
