Transport / Logistics Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced switched\-on logistics administrator who has a solid administrative background. Essentially, experience in transport route planning and scheduling is required.

The role would suit someone who has exceptional organisational skills, strong communications skills and the ability to remotely manage drivers, ensuring time critical deliveries are made on schedule.

Working in a small, friendly team and carrying your own planning responsibility for a customer base, the role will be busy and require a strong eye for detail as well as a good understanding of HGV logistics.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Knowledge of transport industry is essential


• Excellent Customer Service skills


• Strong admin skills with advanced MS Excel is a must!


• Strong decision\-making skills.


• Previous Haulage or Logistics planning experience is essential


• Awareness of import/export and general Customs clearance


• General filing and record keeping, and assisting in other areas of the business when required.

PLEASE NOTE : Selected candidates will be contacted for a telephone interview, and if successful, the next stage will include an interview and practical test on MS Excel and WORD and general filing.

Full time – Monday to Friday – 08\.00\-17\.00
