Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off \- 6am \- 6pm

Location: Welham Green, AL10 8XF

We're now looking for a Transport Controller

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Managing driver paperwork and post\-journey debriefing


• Managing the trailer pool for the site


• Managing the defecting process for vehicles requiring maintenance


• Arranging for vehicle maintenance by liaising with maintenance suppliers


• Driver performance management


• Communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with the customer


• Helping the site to meet KPI and budgetary targets


• Managing driver hours and schedules


• Investigating incidents and complaints


• Support the Transport Manager


• Attend meetings

• Excellent organisational skills


• Minimum of 1 year experience of team management


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)


• Computer literate


• Background in transport operations \- desirable
