Transport Clerk

We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our cable distribution team. This full\-time role is based in a busy, fast\-paced environment and is key to ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of cable and related products across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle schedules for cable distribution


• Monitor and adjust routes in real\-time to maintain delivery performance


• Work closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely deliveries


• Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company standards


• Accurately record and report all transport activities and performance data

• Proven experience in transport planning (experience in cable or construction materials distribution is an advantage)


• Good geographical knowledge and a strong understanding of logistics processes


• Excellent problem\-solving and communication skills


• Comfortable using transport planning software and Microsoft Office


• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast\-paced environment

• Monday to Friday work schedule – Occasional weekend required
