Transport and Compliance Manager
Responsibilities:
\- Oversee and manage a fleet of HGV's and FLT's, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.
\- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
\- Investigate any vehicle damage and take appropriate action.
\- Agree, implement and maintain a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with equipment suppliers.
\- Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance with external vendors ensuring the most cost effective Solution for Proserve.
\- Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to improve fuel efficiency.
\- Track and analyze fleet data, including mileage, maintenance costs, and driver performance
\- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
\- Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to fleet management
\- Provide guidance and support to drivers regarding vehicle operation and safety protocols
\- Manage vehicle inventory, including acquisition, disposal, and replacement \- Please note this is not a planning role!
Requirements
\- Holder of Transport Manager CPC
\- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role
\- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
\- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards
\- Excellent organizational and time management skills
\- Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities
\- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
\- Proficient in using fleet management software and tools
Job Types: Part\-time, Full\-time
Pay: £40,000\.00\-£41,000\.00 per year
