We are recruiting a reliable and organised Transport Clerks to join a busy and professional transport operation in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants regular, ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
PAY RATES
DAY SHIFTS (07:00-15:00)
- Standard: £14.78 per hour
- Overtime: £22.17 per hour
- Standard: £15.52 per hour
- Overtime: £23.28 per hour
- Standard: £16.26 per hour
- Overtime: £24.39 per hour
Some weekend work required

THE ROLE
As a Transport Clerk, you will play an important part in keeping the transport operation running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driver pre-brief and debrief
- Completing transport paperwork and administration
- Updating transport systems accurately
- Communicating with drivers and the wider transport team
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate transport records
- Supporting the smooth running of the transport office
- General duties associated with a busy Transport Clerk position
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience as a Transport Clerk or within transport/logistics
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidence working in a busy transport environment
- Good IT and administration skills
- A flexible approach to working some weekends
- Competitive pay rates
- Up to £39 per hour on nights with overtime
- Overtime after just 40 hours
