Transaction Manager - Hutchings Hyundai Pontypridd
Hutchings Hyundai Pontypridd is a trusted Hyundai dealership in South Wales with a strong reputation for delivering outstanding customer service and sales performance. We operate across the M4 corridor in South Wales in Pontypridd, Bridgend and Swansea. Our Pontypridd site has had a phenomenal start to the year in both New and Used volume and profitability and having expanded our Sales team now needs to enhance our Sales Management structure to reflect the volume and future development of the site.
The Hyundai brand is entering its next phase with 18 new models/face lifts coming in the next 2 years, starting in June with some fantastic new models, performance vehicles and customer offers.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Transaction Manager who thrives in a busy sales environment. You will be responsible for managing the sales process from start to finish, ensuring deals are closed profitably, systems usage is accurate, and compliance is maintained. You will support our Brand Manager who has developed our Pontypridd site over the last 8 years to its current levels. You will energise the sales team, working with advanced systems and customer\-facing administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete vehicle transaction process from offer to hand\-over
- You will oversee the preparation and process of all required documentation accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate finance, part exchange, insurance and additional products in line with FCA compliance
- Work closely with the sales team to maximise conversions and profitability
- Maintain high standards of admin, systems and reporting to support daily operations
- Ensure the showroom and used car site is immaculate and always ready for retail
- Mange customer experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience as a Transaction Manager or similar role within automotive retail.
- An engaging and positive personality who loves to share their expertise.
- A proven record of improving results in high performing teams
- Strong administrative skills and confidence using the many dealership systems
- A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A passion for closing deals and contributing to overall success of the dealership
- Strong OTE with opportunity to stretch
