Team/Role Overview
The Debt Agency is an essential segment of our client's Issuer Services business, focusing on the execution and implementation of Debt bond transactions. This includes agency agreements, trust deeds, account bank agreements, and more! As part of a dedicated team, you'll be at the forefront of delivering innovative financial solutions to institutional clients.
What You'll Do:
- Execute and Manage Transactions:Oversee client transactions by reviewing, negotiating, and executing documentation related to Debt Agency transactions.
- Client Portfolio Management:Act as the primary point of contact for allocated clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
- Transaction Set-Up:Ensure seamless setup and maintenance of transactions, including cash and custody account openings and internet banking arrangements.
- Approval Management:Safeguard transaction integrity by ensuring all necessary approvals are secured prior to deal closure, including KYC, Deal Review, and sanctions screening.
- Engagement in Deal Reviews:Participate in Deal Review meetings to align on transaction execution and strategy.
- Revenue Generation:Drive revenue by ensuring accurate invoicing and financial management.
- Collaboration with Operations:Liaise with Operations teams to facilitate the smooth implementation of new transactions.
- Knowledge of Debt Agency Transactions:Familiarity with Debt Agency transactions is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Documentation:Experience in transaction documentation and deal execution or legal background is advantageous.
- Banking Experience:General banking experience will be a plus.
- Strong Skills:Demonstrated transaction management, execution, and negotiation skills.
- Administrative Excellence:Strong administrative abilities to keep processes running smoothly.
- Prioritisation Skills:Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills to foster strong client relationships.
