East Kilbride \& District Engineering Group Training Association (EKGTA) has been developing engineering talent and supporting employers for more than 60 years. Working with employers across the entire engineering spectrum we are committed to delivering high\-quality apprenticeship and skills development courses that meet the needs of industry.

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Training Delivery Manager to join our senior management team and lead the delivery, quality and operational performance of all training activities across the organisation.

This is a key leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the future of training provision, influence organisational strategy and make a lasting impact on learners, employers and staff.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide leadership and direction across all training delivery functions, ensuring that programmes are delivered to the highest standards and continue to meet the evolving needs of employers and learners.

You will lead and develop the Training Delivery Team, oversee quality assurance and compliance activities, support curriculum development and contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Engineering Skills Coaches

Drive learner achievement, retention and progression outcomes.

Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement activities.

Develop and support training staff and assessors.

Build and maintain strong employer relationships.

Ensure compliance with awarding body, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Contribute to organisational planning and development.

Promote innovation and excellence in training delivery.

About You

You will have a strong engineering background together with experience of leading people, managing performance and delivering successful training programmes.

You will be a confident leader with excellent communication skills, a commitment to quality and a passion for developing people and supporting industry.

Salary £50,000 \- £60,000 range dependant on experience \& qualifications

  • Operations management: 10 years (preferred)
