Training Coordinator & Administrator

As a Complex and Additional needs Support Worker for our Day Service you will be working with individuals who have autism and other additional needs to support them in having an active and fulfilling time whilst in our care.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am \-5pm, 37\.5 hours per week (working times can be flexible and consideration for a job share will be considered)

You would be joining a family run business, originally founded by the family who set up our first Day Service Centre from their own family home. This came after realising there was a strong need for support in their local area. We are an award\-winning, high\-quality provider of person\-centred social care services for adults.
We assist people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health, dementia, Autistic spectrum, and sensory needs. Our sites are in the heart of the community, with a range of different settings including a comprehensive Day Service, Respite facility with state\-of\-the\-art Hydrotherapy Spa and Sensory Suite, Supported Living settings, promoting development and life skills and an Employability hub.
As a Training Coordinator \& Administrator you will manage all face to face and e learning training. Ensuring that training is completed in line with deadlines so that all our support workers are adequately trained to safely support our service users. In addition you will support with our HR administration, ensuring we remain compliant with paperwork, support recruitment activity, complete monthly reporting, ensure our systems remain up to date and proactively support activities like annual leave entitlements, the administration of company benefits including our company pension scheme.
In addition the role includes;
- leading the monthly training meeting, setting the agenda, running data reports and completing minutes
- supporting with other meeting minutes as and when required
- working with multiple systems including our LMS system, BrightHR data system, all outlook systems; outlook, word, excel, powerpoint, TEAMS as well as Docusign.
- Previous experience in a administration role, preferably in HR/Training.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365; word, excel (report creating)
- Ability to confidently work with new systems as the business digitalises processes
- Organisational skills and prioritisation needed
- A working understanding of GDPR and how to maintain standards
- Comfortable working alone and to lead conversations to ensure training compliance is maintained at all times
- Team Player – able to work with others across locations to enable a seamless administration service.
- Proactively work to improve processes independently
