Key Responsibilities :

As a Trainee Welder/Fitter, your duties will include:

• Assisting in the fabrication and fitting of metal components


• Learning to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints


• Supporting experienced welders and fitters on various projects


• Using hand tools, grinders, and cutting equipment


• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment


• Committing to training and development plans


• Working both in the workshop and on\-site (as required)

Essential:

• A genuine interest in welding, metalwork, or mechanical fitting


• Willingness to learn and follow instruction


• Good work ethic and timekeeping


• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness


• Ability to work as part of a team


• Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Any prior experience with tools, machinery, or fabrication (e.g. from school, hobbies, or previous jobs)

Relevant qualification or course in engineering, metalwork, or welding
