We are now looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Southampton team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career within recruitment, sales, or business development. You’ll receive hands-on training and ongoing support while learning how to manage the full recruitment process. The role will involve speaking with clients and candidates daily, building relationships, sourcing talent, and supporting businesses with their hiring needs. You’ll work closely with experienced consultants in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales, retail, hospitality, account management, or business development role would be beneficial


• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills


• Motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn


• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to work


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with new and existing clients across the region


• Learn how to win new business opportunities and grow your market


• Support the full recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement


• Source and engage candidates through advertising, networking, and headhunting


• Match candidates to suitable opportunities and coordinate interviews


• Provide excellent service and tailored recruitment support to clients and candidates


• Work collaboratively with the wider team to achieve targets and celebrate success


• Develop knowledge of your market and build a strong professional network
