About the Role:
Stirling Trailer Centre \- Central Scotland's Main Ifor Williams Dealership and INEOS Grenadier Service Centre \- is looking for an enthusiatic Trainee Parts Advisor to join our team. This entry‑level role is ideal for someone starting their career in the automotive industry. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support to help you develop the skills needed to identify, source, and supply parts for cars, vans, 4x4s, and trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning parts identification — Training provided to help you identify and source parts for a range of vehicles.
- Customer enquiries — Assisting retail and trade customers with parts queries, with guidance from experienced team members.
- Order processing — Supporting the team in processing orders, returns, and invoices accurately.
- Stock control — Helping maintain stock levels and carrying out inventory checks as part of your training.
- Supplier liaison — Learning how to communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Workshop support — Assisting the workshop team with parts requirements.
- Parts advice — Developing knowledge of parts compatibility and availability over time.
- A positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude and a passion for great customer service
- Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft packages
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
