Trainee Health and Safety CDM Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Health and Safety CDM (Construction Design and Management) Consultant to join a multi\-disciplinary construction consultancy. In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, including supporting the Principal Designer across a range of construction projects. You will help ensure compliance with CDM regulations while contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of projects.

Duties

• Assisting in carrying out daily site inspections.


• Supporting audits and health and safety inspections.


• Compiling reports based on site findings and recommendations.


• Assisting in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).


• Supporting the delivery of CDM duties, including pre\-construction information and construction phase plans.


• Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams.


• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records.

Skills

• Understanding of CDM regulations and Principal Designer responsibilities.


• Previous experience or placement in a construction or design environment is desirable.


• Knowledge of design risk management and construction health and safety practices.


• Interest in pursuing further professional development in CDM coordination.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Construction, H\&S or Design qual e.g. NEBOSH, NVQ, BTEC (required)

• United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Preston (Lancashire, North West Region)
