Trainee Electrical Design Engineer (Full Time)

Overview

Due to continued expansion BDS Global is looking to recruit up to six Trainee Electrical Designers. This is in support of our ongoing Electrical Vehicle Charge Points design contracts with several major clients across the UK.

Location: Droitwich, Worcestershire (hybrid working following completion of training)

Salary: Starting salary of £30,000 per annum with opportunity for rapid career progression.

If you are analytical, tech savvy and eager to learn this is the perfect entry point into a high\-demand and rapidly growing industry.

In this role you will work alongside senior engineers to design EV electrical systems using CAD and MS Office Software. You will assist with layout drawings, technical schematics and load calculations, moving from initial concepts through to final project delivery.

We are looking for:

• Competence in engineering, physics or mathematics (A\-Levels, BTEC, or Degree level).


• Strong IT skills and a natural talent for problem\-solving.


• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.


• Prior experience with AutoCAD is a bonus, but not essential.
