Trainee Digital Signage Install Engineer

The role of the trainee Installation Engineer will be to install digital signage screens, interactive screens and roll out of new projects/troubleshoot existing. To work with a senior install engineer and assist in the installation of screens.
This role will require nationwide travel.

Job Details:

• Support and fulfill jobs as required


• Deal with a wide range of customers for example deli's, hotels, schools etc.


• Installation of Screens, LED, interactive panels


• To undertake installations and maintenance, including cabling, screen mounting, digital signage setup (full training provided)


• To assist in troubleshooting of post install issues


• To maximum level of customer satisfaction

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months \- 1 year of work experience in installation environment.


• Installation/fitter experience if possible. You must be able to use a drill and related tools for the job.


• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills \- ability to translate complicated technological terminology into language easily understood by others.


• A self\-starter with proven experience in dealing directly with users on a wide variety of technical issues with ability to be a self\-motivator and work on their own or in team environment.


• Strong troubleshooting skills THINK OUT SIDE THE BOX


• Dealing with Schools, Retail, Commercial and Corporate an advantage.

Training will be provided, but this role is a hit\-the\-ground\-running role. Knowledge of installations/drilling/fitting etc is essential.

You must be over 21 with a clean driving license for insurance. We are based in Oldcastle Co Meath and you will be required to work from this office as a base. This role will involve working nationwide and some early mornings/late evenings (bonus related pay) depending on the project being rolled out. No weekends
