Trainee Dental Nurse

Duties

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures and treatments


• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment in accordance with health and safety standards


• Providing support to patients before, during, and after their appointments, ensuring their comfort and reassurance


• Managing patient records accurately using IT systems


• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the clinical environment


• Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence


• Learning and adhering to infection control protocols and health regulations

Requirements

• Genuine interest in patient care and dental nursing


• Good command of English, both spoken and written


• Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems


• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members


• Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment


• Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate


• Ability to work as part of a team with a professional attitude towards learning and development
