Job Summary:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support the dental team in all aspects of patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in dental nursing, providing on\-the\-job training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting orthodontist therapists Dentists and Hygienists: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials, ensuring that all necessary equipment is sterilized and ready for use.

Patient Care: Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed about the procedures.

Chair\-Side Assistance: Assist during dental procedures by providing the necessary tools and materials, ensuring efficient workflow and patient comfort.

Record\-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.

Infection Control: Adhere to strict protocols for infection control, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Stock Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels

Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and courses to achieve necessary qualifications and stay updated with industry standards and practices.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the dental team, contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

Education: GCSE English C or above

Training will be provided.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast\-paced environment.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with dental software (training will be provided).
