Trainee Dental Nurse

• Full\-time hours, 38\.5 hours per week


• Mon 8\.45\-7\.15, Tues 8\.45\-4\.15, Weds 08\.45\-17\.15, Thurs 7\.45\-5\.15, Fri 7\.45\-5\.15


• Rate of pay £12\.71 per hour (apprentice min wage)


• Training supported by our highly experienced team \- your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex

Acomb Dental and Implant Clinic is a 4 surgery, private dental practice in York. The team provide general dentistry treatments, alongside a variety of cosmetic dental treatments such as teeth whitening, implants and veneers. In addition, they also offer modern orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign braces.

About you

We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course


• Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care


• Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair\-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session


• Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
