Responsibilities

• Assisting dentists during various dental procedures and treatments


• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilised and ready for use


• Supporting patients by providing reassurance and explaining procedures in a clear manner


• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating files as required


• Adhering to infection control protocols and health \& safety regulations


• Managing appointment scheduling and patient correspondence using IT systems


• Ensuring the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times


• Learning about dental procedures, instruments, and best practices through on\-the\-job training

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of patient care principles and a genuine interest in healthcare


• Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members


• Previous experience or background in nursing or healthcare is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment


• Good IT skills for managing digital records and appointment systems


• Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and a caring attitude


• Willingness to learn, develop new skills, and undertake further training as part of your career progression
