Trainee Care Coordinator

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an existing member of our care team to progress into a Trainee Care Coordinator role. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within care management and office coordination.
This is a part\-time position designed to work around your current care rota and commitments.
We are looking for someone who is committed, compassionate, organised, and eager to learn. Previous experience within care is essential, and while 1 year of care coordination experience is preferred, it is not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.

- Assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of care management
- Support with the recruitment of Care Workers in line with company procedures and policies
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with GDPR and company policies
- Keep records updated using both computer and manual systems
- Produce accurate care worker rotas and ensure all calls are covered
- Observe Service User and Care Worker confidentiality at all times
- Assist with matching Care Workers appropriately to Service Users
- Develop competency in office administration and care coordination duties
- Help resolve issues between Care Workers and Service Users effectively
- Communicate professionally with office staff, social workers, Service Users and Care Workers
- Assist with occasional “on\-call” duties including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Provide support in the absence of the Registered Manager when required
- Undertake any other duties in line with the objectives of the role

Pay: £28,700\.00 per year
