About Us

Cold Control Services Limited is a multi\-award\-winning refrigeration and air conditioning company providing installation, maintenance and repair services across the South of England.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Air Conditioning Installation Team as a Trainee Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade and build a long\-term career within the engineering industry. No previous experience is required – just a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

The Role

You will work alongside an experienced Installation Engineer, assisting with the installation of air conditioning systems at a variety of commercial and residential sites.

The successful candidate will be expected to travel to the engineer's home in Bagshot each morning, before travelling together to customer sites. At the end of the working day, you will return to Bagshot before making your own way home.

Full training will be provided, and as your skills develop you will be given increasing responsibility. Cold Control is committed to investing in its people and will look to support formal industry qualifications in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of air conditioning systems.


• Loading, unloading and organising tools, materials and equipment.


• Supporting engineers with site preparation and housekeeping.


• Learning installation techniques, industry standards and best practices.


• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.


• Representing Cold Control professionally on customer sites.


• Travelling to various locations throughout the South of England.

Essential Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.


• Right to work in the UK.


• A genuine desire to build a career within the engineering industry.

Desirable Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card.


• Previous experience in construction, maintenance, engineering or a practical hands\-on role.
