The Trainee Account Manager role offers an exceptional opportunity to embark on a rewarding career in motor finance. You'll benefit from in\-depth sales training and gain invaluable hands\-on experience as part of our Prequalification team.
Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals of motor finance and become proficient in our internal systems and processes, you'll progress to our Account Management team, where our highest achievers earn upwards of £75,000\.
This proven development pathway has been a springboard for success – nearly all of our top performers and team managers began their journey in the Prequalification team.
Our structured rotational programme is designed to equip newcomers with the skills and knowledge they need to excel, ensuring you’re ready to make an immediate impact when managing customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and execute the prequalification process by reviewing customer financial information to assess eligibility for car financing
- Communicate with customers via phone to gather necessary information and provide guidance where required
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with strict FCA regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge of car financing products, industry trends, and best practices
- Hitting set individual and team KPI’s (talk time, wrap time, transfer conversions)
- Working with warm leads generated online via multiple channels
- Good organisational skills to manage a diary of call backs when a customer requests a scheduled call back
- Attention to detail as accuracy of work is vital to the operation
- After mastering prequalification, transition to the sales team to assist customers in selecting suitable financing options and completing the car buying process
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the end\-to\-end financing process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail\-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, dynamic work environment
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is a plus but not required
- The motivation and drive to meet and exceed daily targets

- Able to work on Microsoft office applications
- Base salary of £25,000 with an initial OTE of £32,500\+
- Working pattern: 09:00 – 17:45, 5 days per week, Monday – Saturday (you will receive a weekday off should you work a Saturday)

Pay: £25,000\.00 per year
