Trading Assistant (Nightshift)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Trading Assistant to join our team during the night shift. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with organisational skills, leadership qualities, and experience in administrative and merchandising tasks. The successful candidate will support trading operations, assist with visual merchandising, and ensure smooth workflow during overnight hours. Prior supervisory experience and proficiency with design software are advantageous. Responsibilities

• Support the trading team by managing daily operational tasks during the night shift


• Assist in visual merchandising, including layout adjustments and display organisation using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator


• Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to company standards


• Organise stock levels, monitor inventory, and coordinate replenishment activities


• Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements for reporting purposes


• Contribute to the organisation of promotional displays and marketing materials


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the trading environment


• Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, documentation, and communication with other departments


• Support leadership in implementing merchandising strategies to optimise sales performance

Experience

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a retail or merchandising setting


• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual content


• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication within diverse teams or markets


• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities


• Previous experience in merchandising or retail administration is preferred


• Demonstrated ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
