Test Strategy Lead – Embedded Software

Our client, a company operating in the defense sector, is looking for an experienced Test Strategy Lead to define and deploy a consistent HLR testing approach across several embedded software products.
This role combines validation strategy, process improvement, team coaching and stakeholder coordination in a complex and highly regulated technical environment.
Your responsibilities
Define and implement the overall software validation strategy.
Review current testing practices and identify improvement opportunities.
Establish reusable methodologies, standards and testing frameworks.
Support the definition of KPIs and monitor test coverage.
Coach software development and validation teams.
Lead reviews with technical experts, management and key stakeholders.
Help structure testing activities across multiple products and teams.
Ensure consistency, traceability and quality throughout the validation process.
Profile / Requirements

Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
At least 8 years of experience in software testing, verification or validation.
Strong expertise in requirements\-based testing.
Proven experience in safety\-critical, regulated or highly technical industries.
Demonstrated leadership in test strategy, validation governance or team coordination.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to define scalable testing processes and support organizational maturity.
Experience with embedded software environments is highly valued.
Mandatory requirements
Fluent French.
On\-site presence at least four days per week.
