In this role, you will design and develop advanced test and characterization software, shaping how our next\-generation solutions are validated and optimized for performance. As part of our Long\-Range Business Unit and the Ultra\-low Power Multi\-Role Radio group, you will help build the world’s lowest power radio for industrial and consumer applications.
As a Test Software Developer Engineer, you will play a key role in the creation of our new products. You will help define and develop the software needed to test and verify radios, and you will collaborate closely with your peers in the Long\-Range Business Unit and the other teams at Nordic Semiconductor. Key responsibilities
- Design and develop test and characterization software
- Specify, develop and execute test and characterization concepts for our new radio products
- Participate in reviews and contribute to specifying DFT and enabling BIST testing for new radio products
- Contribute to analyzing and reviewing test results
- Collaborate closely with other test and software teams in Nordic
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering or similar
- Experience in embedded software development
- Good knowledge of the Python and C programming language
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience in semiconductor test development in Python, LabVIEW or similar
- Experience in lab instrumentation, RF and non\-RF
- Knowledge of semiconductor test methodology and production test is a benefit
