We at ALTEN Sweden are now looking for experienced Test Leads to join our team and take a key role in testing, verification and quality assurance of software and hardware for exterior functions within the automotive sector in Gothenburg. In this role, you will work with advanced vehicle systems, including doors, locks, alarms, tailgates, wiper systems and rearview systems. You will lead a team of test engineers and collaborate closely with developers, function owners, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards.

Your Role

  • Lead a team of 25 test engineers across software, hardware, and cross\-functional teams.

  • Develop and maintain test strategies and automation frameworks.

  • Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and project managers to ensure quality and timely deliveries.

  • Oversee test execution, defect management, and reporting.

  • Drive test automation and risk mitigation.

Your Profile
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Electrical Engineering.

  • Experience as a Test Lead in the automotive industry.

  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems, C/C\+\+, Python, and test automation tools (JIRA, Vector CANoe, Carweaver).

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and test methodologies (V\-Model, Waterfall).

  • Leadership skills and fluency in English.
