Test Engineer

Test Engineer:
We are looking for a Test Software Engineer to work on software systems in the Defence domain.
Main Responsibilities:
Analysis of requirements, design, and code of the CSCIs under test.
Planning, design, implementation, and execution of test suites.
Development and modification of simulators and tools for test infrastructure and automation.
Support to validation activities in complex and mission\-critical environments.
Contribution to test strategy definition and verification activities.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Fields of Study:
Electronic Engineering
Information Engineering
Telecommunications Engineering
Essential Technical Skills:
At least 3 years of experience in software design.
Intermediate knowledge of C\+\+ and Python.
Knowledge of UML.
Optional Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Understanding of multi\-thread programming.
Fundamentals of network programming (BSD sockets, synchronous/asynchronous servers, client/server architectures).
Experience in software testing activities.
Knowledge of Robot Framework.
Familiarity with tools such as IBM DOORS and Squish.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of the MIL\-STD\-498 documentation standard.
Knowledge of the DO\-178C standard.
