Tenancy Sustainment Officer
We are delighted to be representing a Housing Association based in East London. They are looking to appoint a new Tenancy Sustainment Officer on a permanent contract.
This will be a permanent, full-time position! The role offers hybrid working! The salary for the position is £35,318
The client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of Social Housing, who is confident with intensive housing management advice and providing practical help to victims of ASB, Hate
Crime and Domestic Abuse.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring vulnerable tenants have access to essential services allowing them to sustain their tenancies
- To provide support to victims of ASB, Hate Crimes and Domestic Abuse
- Provide a proactive landlord service for customers
- Promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Respond to complaints and enquiries in a timely manner
- To contribute to and write risk assessments for tenants in partnership with appropriate agencies
- Knowledge of the Housing Act and The Care Act 2014
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Awareness of and ability to comply with relevant health and safety legislation
- 37 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 09:00 – 17:00
