Location: Harrogate, HG2
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Temporary | Immediate Start until October Half Term
Parking: Free on-site parking available

Office Angels are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist educational setting in Harrogate (HG2) for a Temporary School Administrator.

This rewarding position is based within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, where you'll play a key role in supporting staff, pupils, parents, and visitors. The successful candidate will be available for an immediate start and committed until October half term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the school's reception area when needed and ensuring a professional welcome


• Answering telephone calls and responding to emails


• Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records


• Supporting attendance monitoring and data entry


• Producing letters, reports, and general correspondence


• Organising meetings, appointments, and diary management


• Processing incoming and outgoing post


• Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider school staff


• Ensuring documentation is maintained in line with school policies and procedures


• Undertaking general office administration duties as required

Previous administration experience is essential

School administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to manage multiple tasks within a busy environment

Safeguarding & Compliance

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is of paramount importance within this school. The successful candidate must:

Hold a current Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or Be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check prior to starting employment!
