The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Administrator to support a busy school in Darlington on a full-time temporary basis for 4-7 weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive education environment and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing general administrative support to the school office
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries professionally
- Maintaining student records and updating internal systems
- Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
- Assisting with admissions, correspondence, and documentation
- Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Previous school administration experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (e.g. SIMS or similar)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential
