About Us

Zan Fish Wholesale is a leading supplier to the fish and chip shop industry, supplying quality products and exceptional service to customers throughout the UK.

We are looking for a highly organised and customer\-focused individual to join our office team. This role is centred around managing existing customer accounts, processing orders accurately and delivering excellent customer service in a busy and fast\-paced environment.

The Role

This is not a cold\-calling or new business sales role.

You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, taking and processing customer orders, handling enquiries and ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service.

Attention to detail is absolutely critical. The successful candidate will be handling customer orders, pricing, delivery requirements and product information where accuracy is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking customer orders via telephone and email

  • Managing the day\-to\-day requirements of existing customer accounts

  • Processing orders accurately using internal systems

  • Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally

  • Liaising with operations, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met

  • Updating and maintaining customer records

  • Supporting customers with product information, pricing and availability

  • Ensuring all order information is entered accurately and efficiently

  • Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service and communication

  • Assisting with general office administration as required
What We're Looking For
  • Previous customer service, telesales, account management or office administration experience preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

  • Professional and confident telephone manner

  • High level of customer service and relationship\-building skills

  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and order processing systems

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
