Job Description

As Workshop Technician you will be dedicated to workshop activities as:

1\. Vehicle and engine preparation for testing activities:

• Replacing Engine and Vehicle components.


• Ensuring the correct function and smooth start of the engine for testing.

2\. Vehicle alignment:

• Checking and aligning wheels on both axes within given tolerances.


• Tyre replacement and balancing.

3\. Flashing ECU software:

• Downloading and flashing software provided by engineer on Engine ECU using dedicated equipment.

4\. Vehicle and engine instrumentation for testing activities:

• Prepare and install different types of sensors and data acquisition systems like: thermocouples/pressure sensors/accelerometers /connecting acquisition systems.

5\. TIG/MIG welding and machining skills.

6\. Vehicle evaluation:

Test driving the vehicles to confirm that vehicle behavior after parts replacement.

7\. Vehicle masking:

Masking of prototype vehicles using foil/ tape based on project standards.

8\. Transmission:

• Replacing transmissions and clutches.

9\. Troubleshooting / Diagnosing mechanical or electrical problems:

• Working with repair manuals, wiring diagrams, using Multimeter, oscilloscopes, and Diagnostic tools.

10\. Stock management for vehicle spare parts and consumables. Qualifications

Work experience in a Mechanical Workshop or similar working places (minimum 2 years).

Languages

• Minimum B2 English level.


• Added value if other language.

Valid Driving license
