Technical/Tactical buyer

ISISPACE designs and manufactures space components and subsystems that are used in the nanosatellites we develop ourselves, but also sold as standalone products to customers globally. These systems are composed of numerous parts, materials and components, often with a high level of customization.

As tactical buyer you are responsible for translating the procurement strategy into concrete procurement plans and contracts with suppliers. (make\-or\-buy, supplier policy) and operational execution (ordering processes), with an emphasis on achieving optimal price\-quality ratios, delivery reliability, and building sustainable supplier relationships. You will support the rest of the ISISPACE team when needed in case of procurement related subjects. The position will be part of the Procurement team, in the heart of the operations, driving execution of strategic priorities through procurement initiatives.

Specific tasks and responsibilities include:

• Handle procurement requests from the state of internal request up to


• acceptance of the delivered items.


• Sourcing materials, parts and items according to internal requirements.


• Ability to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers


• Managing relations with (internal) stakeholders and suppliers.


• Tracking inventory and delivery status.


• Handling complaints, non\-conformances, and communication about issues


• between the suppliers and the internal teams


• General administration duties to support internal teams.


• You have a MBO\-HBO level degree in procurement or relevant subject.


• \+3 years of experience in a (technical) purchasing role for complex systems.


• You are used to work according to quality standards and are familiar with documents such as certificate of conformances and material certificates.


• Excellent and straightforward communication skills in English (and preferably also in Dutch).


• Energetic, self\-motivated team player with a positive, hands\-on mentality and open mindset.


• Focused on details and excellent administration skills.


• Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, with a commitment to delivering results; thrives in a central, coordinating “spider in the web” role,connecting stakeholders and driving collaboration across functions.
