Location
- Den Helder, Netherlands.
- Provide technical support on OEG electrical systems (Dive and ROV) in collaboration with the R\&D department and Senior Technical Advisor.
- Support project preparation by consulting with the Senior Technical Advisor to ensure accurate technical planning and input.
- During project execution, validate findings and technical decisions with the Senior Technical Advisor and/or R\&D to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Coordinate and/or produce technical documentation of new designs and projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate and support the integration of new designs and projects into the workshop, ensuring smooth transition into production.
- Provide technical support to the Assets, Projects, and Commercial departments to support effective decision\-making and project delivery.
- Support the R\&D department in the development and integration of new technologies and improvements into existing systems and projects.
- Produce CAD drawings into AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software in accordance with project and design requirements.
- Review technical documentation, including procedures and drawings, to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Carry out fault finding and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Analyse and diagnose recurring system faults, identifying and implementing effective potential solutions.
- Define minimum standards and equipment requirements for new projects and designs to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Work in accordance with company health and safety, operational, and quality assurance procedures always.
- Keep up to date with developments in ROV and electrical/electronic engineering fields and provide recommendations for improvement to company policies and practices.
- Report on internal and external changes to standards and assess performance against established requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SCC (VCA) and ISO standards across all relevant activities.
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience working in a technical environment.
- Excellent written and spoken command of both Dutch and English languages.
- Working knowledge of CAD software, including AutoCAD (Electrical) (preferred) and SolidWorks (desirable).
- Good knowledge of relevant industry standards and applicable legislation.
- Middle Technical Education Degree (MBO) or Higher Technical Education (HBO) qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- SCC (VCA) certified.
