Technical Service Specialist

The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), providing backup first\-line (Level 1\) service, and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.### Key Responsibilities
- Provide first\-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor)
- Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities
- Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins – TSBs)
- Support instrument installations and deinstallations
- Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS), service KPIs, and the district’s economic growth and profitability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in medical, electrical, mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred
Experience \& Skills
- Proven experience in a similar technical service role, supported by management and customer references
- Strong customer engagement skills, particularly with laboratory staff
- Recognized technical expertise for the assigned product line
- Excellent communication and problem\-solving skills
- Strong experience using analytical tools and technical software
