Technical Scientific Officer – Environmental Health | Colindale, NW9 | £39,000 | Hybrid Working

Are you passionate about protecting public health and the environment? We're looking for a motivated Technical Scientific Officer to join our clients Environmental Health team

The Role

You'll deliver a range of regulatory and enforcement services across areas including air quality, noise, contaminated land, and pollution control. Day-to-day you'll carry out inspections, investigate complaints, monitor environmental conditions, and provide clear professional advice to businesses, residents, and colleagues. You'll manage your own caseload and contribute to keeping communities safe.

What We're Looking For

• A degree (or near completion) in Environmental Health, Science, or a related field — or demonstrable professional experience in pollution control


• Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities


• Competent in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with data management systems


• EHORB registration/CIEH membership is a bonus but not essential
