Technical Sales Manager (m/w/d)
AEE Aircraft Electronic Engineering GmbH was founded in 1987\. We develop, qualify, manufacture, maintain and repair customized avionic and electronic systems for civil aviation, special mission aircraft and defense applications. This includes individual solutions as well as series production.
Our customers include established aviation OEMs, but also companies in the growing Unmanned Aircraft Systems and Advanced Air Mobility markets.
With more than 35 employees, AEE combines engineering, production and maintenance capabilities in one company. We are approved as an EASA Part 21G production organization and EASA Part 145 maintenance organization and certified according to EN9100:2018\.
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager. This role is not only about supporting sales activities. You will take responsibility for trade fairs, customer visits, target customer analysis and business development activities. The main objective is to actively drive AEE’s growth through structured sales work, new customer relationships and consistent follow\-up of opportunities.

Your tasks:
- Prepare and manage AEE’s presence at trade fairs and aviation events
- Attend aviation trade fairs, conferences and customer events to identify new customers and business potential
- Identify and approach target customers based on products, services and strategic focus areas
- Prepare target customer analyses, market screenings and business development trips
- Carry out an initial technical assessment of customer inquiries
- Prepare offers together with Engineering and Project Management
- Build and maintain customer lists, lead tracking and follow up processes
- Define a sales strategy and help translate it into practical sales activities
- Take responsibility for turning market potential into customer relationships and concrete business
- Technical background or a strong interest in aviation, electronics and technical products
- Understanding of customer requirements and ability to translate them into practical sales activities
- Experience with avionics, aerospace certification or regulated technical products is a big plus
- Clear communication with technical and commercial stakeholders and ability to build long\-term customer relationships
- Structured and independent way and follow up reliably
- Willingness to travel for trade fairs, customer visits and business development activities
- Fluent in English and German
- A challenging role with real responsibility for AEE’s sales activities and business growth
- Direct reporting to the CEO and close cooperation with Engineering and Project Management
- Success in this role will be visible and will matter

We are not impressed by titles or years of experience alone. We are looking for someone who communicates clearly, presents themselves professionally, takes ownership and gets things done.
This is not a trainee role. You do not need to know AEE from day one, but you should already understand technical sales and business development. We are looking for someone who raises the level of our sales activities from day one by bringing structure, initiative, follow\-up discipline and a clear view on how to develop new business.
Your cover letter should show that you have understood the role and are willing to take responsibility for it. Tell us why this position is interesting for you, how you would approach technical sales for AEE and what your first priorities would be.
We do not expect major programs to appear overnight. But we do expect a structured view on target customers, trade fairs, measurable sales activities and long\-term customer development.
