We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team, specializing in Industrial Brakes \& Braking Systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical expertise, and offering tailored braking system solutions across various industrial sectors such as manufacturing, mining, steel, nuclear (civil \& military), energy, and transportation.

The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and strong customer relationship skills to help clients choose the best braking solutions for their applications.

\- Sales \& Business Development:

\- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.

\- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.

\- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, R\&D, production) to provide custom solutions and timely responses to customer inquiries.

\- Technical Consultation:

\- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on braking systems, including product selection, design specifications, and application suitability.

\- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.

\- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with internal engineers to solve complex customer challenges.

\- Customer Solutions Development:

\- Engage with customers to understand their braking system needs and provide solutions that improve performance, safety, and efficiency.

\- Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and communicate those needs to the product development team.

\- Offer after\-sales technical support, ensuring proper installation and operation of systems.

\- Market \& Product Expertise:

\- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' products in the braking systems market.

\- Train clients and partners on product functionality, maintenance, and performance optimization.

\- Contribute to product development initiatives by providing customer feedback and insights from the field.

\- Project Management:

\- Manage the sales process from lead generation to post\-sale support, ensuring a seamless experience for the customer.

\- Develop technical sales plans and manage key accounts to achieve sales targets.

\- Prepare detailed quotes, tenders, and sales reports as needed.

\- Education:

\- ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred

\- Experience:

\- 3\+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within an industrial or mechanical systems environment.

\- Experience with braking systems, hydraulics, electrics, or related heavy\-duty industrial equipment is highly desirable.

\- Skills:

\- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, especially braking systems used in industrial applications.

\- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical details into clear, customer\-friendly language.

\- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and close complex sales deals.

\- Problem\-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or within a team.

\- Proficient with CRM \& ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

\- Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly and as needed.

\- Knowledge of industrial braking systems and their applications in industries such as mining, manufacturing, or renewable energy.

\- Hands\-on experience with installation and maintenance of industrial machinery or braking systems.

\- Familiarity with CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
