You will lead the development and delivery of a robust resident engagement service, aligned with MTVH’s Resident Engagement Strategy and the requirements of the Building Safety Act 2022\. Acting as a key link between technical teams and residents, you will ensure complex safety information is clearly communicated, accessible, and meaningful.

This role combines technical understanding with people\-focused delivery—ensuring residents feel informed, heard, and confident in the safety of their homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a comprehensive resident engagement service in line with the Building Safety Act and MTVH strategy

  • Translate and communicate technical building safety information (fire, structural, and compliance reports) into clear, accessible content for residents

  • Manage the sharing of building safety information, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance

  • Work closely with technical teams to interpret surveys, risk assessments, and safety case data

  • Support the Building Safety Team in the development and communication of Building Safety Cases

  • Oversee and support delivery of Residential Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (RPEEPs) in line with legislative requirements

  • Act as a key liaison between residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders, building trust and confidence

  • Ensure resident feedback is captured and embedded into decision\-making and service improvement

  • Promote a culture of proactive, transparent, and inclusive engagement
About You

We are looking for someone who can combine technical credibility with excellent communication skills.

You will have:

  • A qualification or relevant experience in Fire Safety, Structural Engineering, Building Safety, or a related discipline

  • Strong ability to interpret and understand technical reports (e.g., FRAEW, PAS9980, structural or fire assessments)

  • Experience working within building safety, compliance, or technical housing environments

  • A clear understanding of the Building Safety Act and resident engagement expectations

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a simple and transparent way

  • Experience engaging with residents or customers in a sensitive or safety\-critical context

  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
Why Join MTVH?

At MTVH, we are committed to creating safe, resilient homes and communities. This role offers the opportunity to shape how we engage with residents on building safety—ensuring their voices are heard and their safety is understood.

You will be part of a forward\-thinking Building Safety team, working at the forefront of regulatory change and making a tangible difference to residents’ lives.
