Technical Project Engineer

The Role
We’re looking for a technically minded individual with construction experience to support project delivery and resolve on\-site issues. Based mainly in the office, with regular UK site visits, you’ll investigate installation challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. You must be flexible to travel with this role, and be happy to work on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve installation and product issues (remote \& on\-site)


• Produce clear technical reports and recommendations


• Support site teams, contractors, and clients with technical guidance


• Act as the company’s representative on\-site


• Collaborate with commercial, design, and manufacturing teams


• Assist with estimating (materials, labour, time)


• Review drawings and maintain technical documentation


• Drive continuous improvement and right\-first\-time installation

Requirements

• Experience in the construction industry


• Strong problem\-solving and technical skills


• Confident working with site/contract managers


• Excellent communication skills


• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable

• CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar)


• Knowledge of glazing/façade systems


• CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain)

Working hours \- 40 per week, flexibility is required for site visits, these may also require over night hotels from time to time. Head Office based in Dinnington, Sheffield.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£38,000\.00 per year
