What we look for?

We are looking for a Technical Lead – API Channel / Web with 5\+ years of continuous and specialized experience in microservices development using Java and Spring Boot, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role. The ideal candidate has strong experience in architectural design, REST API governance, cloud environments (AWS), and a clear focus on code quality and best practices.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Provide technical leadership to development teams working with Java / Spring Boot microservices.

Design and define solution architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Define and govern REST API standards, including design guidelines, versioning, and best practices.

Perform and oversee code reviews, ensuring high quality and adherence to development standards.

Define and implement end\-to\-end testing strategies (unit, integration, and E2E testing).

Contribute to the deployment and operation of services in AWS environments (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).

Act as a technical reference and mentor, supporting team growth and knowledge sharing.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.

What do we expect from you?

Technical skills

5\+ years of experience in Java\-based microservices development with Spring Boot.

Proven experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.

Strong knowledge of JPA / Hibernate.

Solid understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and event\-driven architectures.

Hands\-on experience with AWS services: ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch.

Experience using Git and Maven in collaborative environments.

Testing \& quality

Experience defining and executing comprehensive testing strategies.

Strong background in JUnit and Mockito.

High standards for code quality, maintainability, and best practices.

Soft skills

Strong technical leadership and team management capabilities.

Ability to mentor and guide developers.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Languages

Native or equivalent Spanish.

English B2, spoken, written, and read.

Work Location

100% remote (within Spain)

Work Schedule

Business hours (40 hours weekly with 1 hour for lunch).
