Technical Engineer | Plymouth | £35,000-£43,000 DOE
An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC machinist or manufacturing professional looking to take the next step away from the tools.
Working for an established precision engineering business, you'll provide technical support across production, quoting and manufacturing, using your practical CNC experience to help optimise processes and improve efficiency.
The role will include:

  • Quoting machining times and costs

  • Reviewing drawings and manufacturing requirements

  • Supporting production and problem-solving

  • Identifying process and efficiency improvements

  • Working with customers on technical requirements

  • Supporting a range of bespoke, low-volume engineering projects

  • Developing towards a more senior technical/leadership position

We're looking for someone with around 7-10 years' CNC/precision engineering experience who understands machining from the shop floor and is ready for a broader, more influential role - possibly with an eye on working towards a leadership position within a modestly sized but ambitious established company.
